Buenos Aires stocks edge up

Buenos Aires edged up, with the Merval benchmark stock index closing at 2.3 percent to 2,340.26 points. It has accumulated a 9.7 percent increase this week.

Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk rose by 2.8 percent, standing at 1,184 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
