Independiente's VP resigns after hooligans' threat
Independiente's Deputy-Vice President Claudio Keblaitis tendered his resignation after hooligans threatened him with death, but President Javier Cantero rejected it and convinced him to take 30-day leave of absence.
"I'm going through a bad period, this is destroying me," Kebalitis said as he explained the reasons of his resignation.
Likewise, the club's official assured he did not want to continue after his two daughters begged him "to leave" the club.
Independiente hooligans achieved their aim after leading the team's authorities to take a step back in their fight to erradicate them from the stadiums.
