Boca defeat Fluminense in quarter-finals' first leg

Argentina''s Boca Juniors defender Facundo Roncaglia (R) vies for the ball with Brazil''s Fluminense forward Rafael Moura.

Boca Juniors, the only team that has chances to win 3 tournaments this semester, defeated Brazil's Fluminense 1-0 in the match a for the first leg of the quarter-finals of the Libertadores de América Cup.

The only goal of the game was netted by Pablo Mouche only 6' after the beginning of the second half.

The match was held at the Bombonera stadium, while the second leg will take place next Thursday at Río de Janeiro.

This was the third time both teams meet this year, as they have already played during the groups round in which the Brazilian ended at the top of Group 4 with 15 points followed by Boca with 13.

Boca: Agustín Orión; Facundo Roncaglia, Rolando Schiavi, Juan Insaurralde and Clemente Rodríguez; Diego Rivero, Cristian Erbes and Walter Erviti; Juan Román Riquelme; Pablo Mouche and Darío Cvitanich. Coach: Julio César Falcioni.

Fluminense: Diego Cavalieri; Bruno, Gum, Anderson or Leandro Euzebio and Carlinhos; Edinho, Jean and Wagner; Thiago Neves, Rafael Sobis and Rafael Moura. Coach: Abel Braga.

Stadium: Boca Juniors.

Referee: Carlos Amarilla (Paraguay).
