Cannes Festival begins with melancholy love story

The 65th edition of the Cannes Film Festival kicked off today with a showing of “Moonrise Kingdom,” a melancholic and heart warming film by US director Wes Anderson, one of the 22 films officially selected, all competing for the Palme d'Or prize.
