La Plata hosts BA's first same-sex wedding between two foreigners
Australia-born Alexander Greenwich and Victor Höld tied the knot today in La Plata, Buenos Aires Province.
The first ever same-sex marriage between two foreigners in Buenos Aires Province takes place today in La Plata. Australia-born Alexander Greenwich and Victor Höld both live in Sydney, where gay marriage laws have not yet been passed. The two are to tie the knot today at midday.
After Greenwich and Hölds’ exchanging of vows today, Buenos Aires becomes the third province in Argentina to host a wedding for non- residents, following in the footsteps of Santa Fe and Tierra del Fuego provinces.
