Buenos Aires stocks edge up boosted by power companies

Buenos Aires stocks edged up today, with the Merval stock benchmark index gaining 6 percent to 2,384.26 points.

Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk rose by 1.1 percent to 1,005 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
