In midst of Israeli-Palestinian conflict
Palestinian Fatah endorse two-state solution
The Palestinian Fatah movement confirmed their endorsement for the creation of a state alongside Israel, which underlines the conflict with the Islamist Hamas and sets up another debate topic for the next election.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas would create a state roughly along the borders set up by the 1967 Middle East War.
Fatah dominates in the West Bank, separated from the Gaza Strip, run by Hamas, by Israeli land.
