Unión-Pro deputies-elect Francisco De Narváez and Felipe Solá participated in a meeting with Buenos Aires governor Daniel Scioli in the provincial government house, as part of the announced round of talks.

"We talked mainly about the security in the Buenos Aires province," explained Francisco De Narváez after the meeting, adding that "this is what keeps our citizens worried. We also spoke about the judicial system."

Felipe Solá explained that, in the Unión-Pro deputies-elect's opinions, the province needs "more social investments, more policemen." "The numbers at the moment are pathetic. This is also because the province doesn't receive enough funds from the national government," he added.

Solá gave the following numbers: "At the moment the BA province is given 6% of the national funds distribution. When Duhalde was governor of the province (1991-99), BA was receiving 11%."

Regarding how Daniel Scioli received them and how the dialogue went, De Narváez said it seemed to him that "the meeting was a step forward. We will keep on criticizing the government but we feel like the dialogue between us was very constructive."

Solá, once part of the ruling party,  said Scioli — who was the first to call him and admit defeat after the midterm elections results were published — had "a very intelligent attitude."

Before the meeting, De Narváez declared: "Scioli became hermetic when he was infected with Kirchnerism," before adding: "I hope it will change today."

De Narváez explained he thought it was "wrong" to refuse to talk to the opposition but announced that no one at the Unión-Pro would accept an official post in the Provincial government.
