Deputy finds farmer's speech annoying
'The Liaison Committee crossed the line', Solá
Centre-right Unión-PRO elected Deputy Felipe Solá did not find himself comfortable with the speech pronounced by the farm sector Liaison Committee at the Rural Society farm fair in Palermo.
"I think it crossed the line, they've got pretty aggressive. They were in front of a thousand-people audience so what was meant to be a press conference turned into a political speech."
Solá also claimed that "I could not understand their attitude, they were not that aggressive when they met with us (deputies)".
Former Agriculture Secretary also remarked, "We are not going to consider the entire farm sector's demands, only the top priorities should be discussed now. We are not here to make demagogy."
Solá and also Unión-PRO elected deputy Francisco de Narváez will be meeting today with Buenos Aires Governor Daniel Scioli.
