"Dialogue" policy
Scioli: 'I'm not the messenger or mediator of the farming sector'
Buenos Aires province governor, Daniel Scioli said that he did not mention the Liaison Committee's demand to the President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner because he is not a "messenger or a mediator."
"The Liaison Committee has a very important meeting with the Cabinet Chief and I am not a mediator. We do have a provincial agenda, as a result of the agrarian provincial agenda," said Scioli during a TV interview after he met the President.
He added that the main provincial issues he talked about were "meat, wheat and drought problems."
Scioli said that he changed his attitude when the government summoned the Liaison Committee to discuss their demands.
According to the Cabinet Chief Aníbal Fernández, they did not talk about the Liaison Committee's demands. "We didn't talk about the farming sector because the governor is aware about our meeting with the Liaison Committee where we are going to discuss everything," he said.
