Most of the cases were in Buenos Aires province
Argentina second highest H1N1 death toll: 137

The H1N1 influenza death figures increased 50 percent in three days adding up to 137 deadly cases, leaving Argentina as the second country with the highest H1N1 deaths toll, said Health Ministry sources.

The US is the first country in the toll with 211 deaths, and Mexico is now the third one with 124 confirmed deaths.

National Health Minister, Juan Manzur said that probably 100.000 people are infected with the swine flu virus in Argentina since the outbreak in May.

Malbrán Institute confirmed another 43 H1N1 influenza deaths. Since the outbreak, the institute reported 3,056 positive cases and that 2,395 possible cases were negative.

Most of the deadly cases were in Buenos Aires province, 69 confirmed deaths, and most of the positive cases where found in Buenos Aires City, 1008 cases.
