Michael Jackson's death
Daily Star: "Michael Jackson was sure his life was in danger"
According to British tabloid "Daily Star", Michael Jackson was sure his life was in danger and told his daughter Paris he knew people were trying to kill him.
In a story titled "Jacko: They want me dead", the British media reports that "he called her into his room and told her not to get mad at him if he didn't make it to Father's Day. He felt extremely ill".
The tabloid also quotes Ian Halperin, author of ‘Unmasked: The Final Years Of Michael Jackson' as saying that one female aide had confided: "Someone wants him dead. They keep feeding him pills like candy. They are trying to push him over the edge. He needs serious help. The people around him will kill him."
His sister La Toya and his father Joe claimed in the press in the past days that the "King of Pop" was murdered. In the article, Halperin explains that "Jackson was being forced into performing 50 shows at London's O2 arena, even though he was not fit."
The father is quoted as backing the claim: "The comeback tour was a good idea but there were more dates added on to it. Michael told me himself that he only agreed to 10 shows."
His manager, Frank DiLeo denied there would have been a problem. Police is still investigating the case.
