Protesters lift Gualeguaychú roadblock to buy health masks and tamiflu in Uruguay
Protesters partially lifted Gualeguaychú roadblock for Argentines to be able to cross to Uruguay in order to buy health masks and tamiflu to combat the H1N1 outbreak.
Argentine environmentalists are blocking a bridge in Gualeguaychú in protest over the building on the Uruguayan side of the shared River Uruguay of the Botnia pulp mill.
"It is an humanitarian reason," protester José Pouler told Uruguayan newspaper El País, adding that "the situation in Argentina is chaotic."
