Former president and ruling party's head candidate Néstor Kirchner recognized the defeat suffered by the Victory Front around 02 am after official voices remained in silent for several hours in a long waiting for the heads (Néstor Kirchner, Daniel Scioli, and even the President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner) to face the press and supporters gathered at the Intercontinetal Hotel at downtown.

A weary long face Kirchner showed up and with no round-arounds went straight to the point, "We accept our defeat, and we've lost by a bit", and added "these results are not going to stop us (Kirchnerite). I´m prepared to keep building a model".

We believe in ourselves and we are already working to consolidate the Project we want for Argentina, deepen on substantial changes, and be a political alternative for the 2011 presidential elections."

"When someone wins by a remarkable difference, it is said that governability is under risk, well I guess from now on the election winners should demonstrate their willingness to guarantee the country's governability."

Kirchner also aimed to Buenos Aires city Major Mauricio Macri and mentioned that "in terms of votes PRO made a very poor election".

"Those responsible for writing about the possibility of fraud can see how we, once again, demonstrated a crystal clear behavior, we lost by 1.5 points and we are not talking about fraud, we recognize our defeat and congratulate the winners", and continued, "I´m sure that everybody would be talking of fraud if we were the ones wining by one or two points difference."

Kirchner also referred to the controversial and so much discussed testimonial candidacies, "we will evaluate what to do", said and left an open scenario on whether testimonial candidates of the ruling party will take office on December 10th.
