Stocks rose 0.7%
The Merval benchmark index in Buenos Aires rose 0.7 percent, to reach 1.506,90 points. The leading stock panel soared 40.6 per cent in 2009, but dropped 4.4 per cent on June.
The dollar rose one cent and is traded for 3.80/3.76 pesos.
The Brazilian Bovespa meanwhile rose 0.6 percent, reaching 49.813,58 points.
