RICARDO BECHER-RECTA FINAL. Filmmaker-writer Ricardo Becher likes to make extreme decisions, both in his life and work. Aged 80 and living in a home for the elderly, he wrote a book entitled Recta final, based on his experience in cohabitation with other senior citizens.

SOUTH OF THE BORDER (Al sur de la frontera, US, 2009). Controversial director Oliver Stone’s documentary is a road trip across five countries to explore the social and political movements as well as the media misperception of South America while interviewing seven of its elected presidents: Hugo Chávez, Evo Morales, Lula da Silva, Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, Rafael Correa, Raúl Castro, and former president Néstor Kirchner.
