At least four tons of Marijuana were seized by border guards near the town of Colonia Delicia, in Misiones province. It could be the biggest drug bust in the history of the Northeastern region, officials said. The drug was found 300 meters away from Road 12 but no criminal was on the site.

After previous investigation, 40 officers of the 10th squadron "El Dorado" searched the zone and found 236 bags hidden in vegetation on a small hill, under banana trees leaves. According to local media, between four and five tons of marijuana were found in the bags, which represents around 20 million pesos. Police suspects it was coming from Paraguay and left there so that the Argentine drug dealing mob would pick it up later.
