Merval gains 0.5%; bonds climb up to 4%

The Merval benchmark index increased 0.5 percent and stood at 2.319,14 points, meanwhile bonds gained up to 4 percent.

Boden 2012 gained 0.6 percent; Bogar 2018, 1.4 percent; peso-denominated Discount, 2.4 percent. The peso-linked GDP coupon zoomed 1.1 percent, while the dollar-denominated, 4 percent.

Argentina's country-risk meanwhile dropped 2.5 percent, reached 732 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI+ index.

The US currency has been traded for ARG$ 3.88/ARG$ 3.84, remained unchanged compared to yesterday's close in the main banks and foreign exchange houses in Buenos Aires downtown.

The US dollar increased 1.3 percent so far in 2010

The main indicator of the Brazilian stock market's average performance zoomed 1.5 percent to 69.604,87 points.

Bovespa climbed 4.6 percent in March, 1.4 percent so far in 2010.
