An extraordinary appeal was lodged by the Federal Contencious Administrative Court, against the Holiday Court ruling that ratified the suspension of the DNU emergency decree, authorizing the use of foreign currency reserves to meet debt payments.

Judicial sources confirmed that Treasury Prosecutor Joaquín Da Rocha appealed so the Court can revise the ruling.

Last January 22nd., judges Marta Herrera and Clara do Pico, members of the holiday court, supported judge María José Sarmiento's decision and suspended decree 2010/09, for considering that by not justifying why it was considered urgent, it didn't abide by the Constitution.
