The brand of the lion is launching the coupe-cabrio version of the European successor of the 307 in Argentina. In a similar strategy to the one it had adopted with the 207RC and 207CC, which were first imported ahead of the start of the local production of the 207 Compact, Peugeot unveiled the 308CC, imported from France.
It is the coupe-cabriolet version of the model that replaced the 207 in Europe, the 308. Only its sedan alternative will be produced in Argentina.

The 308CC manufactured in the French plant of Sochaux is larger than its predecessor. It is 4,440mm long, 2,030mm wide, 1,426mm tall and it has a 2,605mm wheelbase.
The boot has also been expanded, and the load capacity now ranges from 226 to 465 litres, according to the configuration of the hood. The cabin is configured for four people and — according to the brand — it offers an improved level of comfort than the one of the 307CC.

The company decided to install a retractile roof that can be fully folded in 20 seconds by only pressing button in the central console The operation can be carried out when the vehicle is moving at speeds below 12km/h, and it is possible to monitor it thanks to a screen on the centre of the board.
It features a well-known 1.6 litre engine, which develops 152hp at 5,800rpm, with a 240Nm par at 1,400rpm; thanks to a turbo compressor developed jointly with BMW Group.

It is fitted with a manual six-speed transmission, allowing it to reach a max speed of 216km/h, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in only  10.5 seconds.
Average consumption stands at 7.5 l/100 km.
The equipment is complete and includes six airbags, ABS brakes, stability control, EBD Electronic Brake distribution, emergency brake assist, safety bars in the back seats, air conditioner, front and back parking sensors, leather seats, directional xenon headlights, among other elements.

It is available in three colours: Aluminum Grey, Black Pearl and Nacreé White.
Its price reaches 179,000 pesos with a two year guarantee without mileage restrictions for the mechanic part, three years for paint and 12 for corrosion.
