This morning, union leader and former Boca Juniors Vice-President Roberto Digón gave judge Oyarbide photos in which former Metropolitan Police head Jorge "Fino" Palacios and the espionage-accused Ciro James allegedly appear together at a football game.

The pictures are said to have been taken in the Bombonera stadium, during which the local team, Boca Juniors, was facing the Banfield Athletic Club.

According to local media, the images show a man who looks like Palacios sitting next to a man with a Federal Police jacket who, according to Digón, would be James, the spy involved in an espionage scandal, which embarasses City Mayor Mauricio Macri's Administration.

Macri, who was Boca's president at the time, denied Palacios ever worked as head of the Security in the stadium.

Digón, who was Macri's Vice-President, says James was known in Boca to be part of Palacios' security team at Boca Juniors.

An investigation conducted by Federal Judge Norberto Oyarbide discovered that there were more than 150 phone calls between Palacios and policeman Ciro James, accused of spying on the relatives of the victims of the AMIA terrorist attack.

James is suspected of tapping the phone lines of the relatives of the AMIA to obstruct the investigation into the bombing in which 85 people died in 1994.
