The Merval benchmark index dropped  0.39 percent to close at 2,279.69 units. It had gained 3 percent yesterday. The Brazilian Bovespa meanwhile gained 0.13 percent. The US dollar remained stable and was traded for 3.83 / 3.79 pesos. The Argentine sovereign risk reaches 729 points.
