Taiana to meet with Brazilian Ambassador
Foreign Minister Jorge Taiana said that he was "worried about the trade interruption with Brazil, because several trucks with Argentine products are being held in different areas along the border without previous notification."
Taiana will meet with Brazilian Ambassador Mauro Vieira to discuss the issue.
The Minister made these declarations after meeting with Cemil Cecik, Vice Prime Minister of Turkey, at the Palacio San Martín. Cecik arrived in Argentina along with a delegation from his country for the 3 rd Argentine-Turkish mixed economic Committee.
The Argentine minister asked International Economic Relations Secretary Alfredo Chiaradía to meet with Vieira. The meeting would serve to "transmit our worry about these decisions, which are interrupting the commercial flow between both nations," said an official source.
