The flight supposedly brought in 10,000 pesos
Mariano Recalde attempts to clarify Aerolíneas controversy
The CEO of Aerolíneas Argentinas, Mariano Recalde, once again criticized Antonio Mata, ex director of the company and owner of a local newspaper, for transmitting false information about a trip to Montevideo.
He spoke during a private meeting with national deputies regarding the private flight to Montevideo via an Aerolineas plane.
Recalde also spoke about the "disastrous situation" in which the airline company was left by Mata after he left the firm.
The current Aerolíneas CEO said that the flight taken to Uruguay to watch the soccer game between the Argentine team and the Uruguayan team was planned before the day of the game, and that the 41 passengers paid for their plane tickets.
He then added that 23 passengers would have been enough to avoid generating a financial loss as a result of the flight, which means that the flight to Montevideo brought in 10 thousand pesos.
• Opposition wants 'the names' of passengers on irregular flight
• Senators refuse to debate business plan for Aerolíneas without media presence
