Ciega a Citas to use social networking sites for publicity
The new television programme from Rosstoc, aired Tuesday to Friday at 11 p.m. starting October 20, will be utilizing social media in order to get the word out about its debut and overall run.
Tercerclick, a local media agency, will be taking on this publicity campaign.
The campaign online includes video banners in various blogs that are specialized in general information, along with YouTube channels and a Facebook fan page.
Here, exclusive material will be broadcasted so that viewers can see what the programme has to offer.
"Social networking sites are great for publicity when it comes to television programmes, cinematic productions and even theatre productions, because this is a good space for interaction, where users can comment on the content and see exclusive footage and photos."
Sebastián Almada, Tercerclick agency director, said that "the whole word of mouth system is great for these kinds of products that have to do with emotions and feelings, as is the case with Ciega a Citas."
Tercerclick was founded by Leandro Zanoni and Sebastián Almada in early 2007.
