Romanian legislators topple government in vote
Romanian legislators toppled Bucharest's centrist minority government in a no-confidence vote, heightening political instability that threatens the country's IMF accord.
Deputies voted 258 to 176 in support of the motion.
The centrist and leftist opposition called vote after Prime Minister Emil Boc's coalition cabinet split earlier this month, plunging the country into political crisis at a time when it is trying to fight against a recession.
