For Spanish speakers, the much awaited new Pedro Almodóvar movie is out in the Buenos Aires theatres. An argentine production and three US movies are also out.

Written by Diablo Cody, who co-authored the acclaimed Juno, Jennifer’s Body is about a small-town girl possessed by a ravenous demon who pushes the girl to seduce men to then swallow them down for dinner. Not a truly horror film, but rather a giallo, as the action is framed in a pop milieu in which horror is seen through the veil of comedy. (US, 2009, in English with Spanish-language subtitles).
