The relationship between both countries "are good"
US Ambassador looks forward to meeting CFK
US Ambassador Vilma Martínez said she hopes she can meet with President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner soon, during a welcoming ceremony held at the US embassy.
Martínez said she was hoping that "many companies" from the US "can see Argentina's potential" and settle down in the country. The US Ambassador also said that "It's my pleasure to send President Barack Obama and State Secretary Hillary Clinton's greetings."
She described the relationship between US and Argentina as "good, and keeps getting better," although she said that the press could have published news in which the relationship seemed to be not so good.
"I hope I meet with President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner soon, I would like to meet also with members of the legislator and judicial branch and with businessmen to strengthen ties between both countries," added Martínez.
The Cabinet Cheif of the Foreign Office, Alberto D'alotto, Buenos Aires province governor Daniel Scioli, Buenos Aires Security Minister Carlos Stornelli and Tigre's mayor, Sergio Massa, were at the welcoming ceremony.
