Sweden, Argentina’s first rival in the Davis Cup
Spain, with Rafael Nadal, will compete at home against Roger Federer's Switzerland, while the Argentine tennis team will travel to Sweden in the first round of the 2010 Davis Cup.
Lots were cast in Geneva, Switzerland, today. According to the draw, Spain, who will compete against the Czech Republic in November in the 2009 final of the cup, could meet Argentina in the semi-finals. That would be a remake of the 2008 final Argentines lost at home against the Spaniards.
Ecuador will face Croatia, Chile will receive Israel. The other encounters will be: France-Germany, Rusia-India, Serbia-USA, Belgium-Czech Republic.
