She met with Chaco Governor Capitanich
CFK: We are united in this 'project for change'
President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, in Chaco Province, inaugurated the new Avia Terai Hospital, and ratified an agreement for the construction of 5000 homes.
Before leaving, she spoke at the military base of the airport with members of the famous "Patrouille de France," which will begin an aerial exhibition tomorrow.
In Chaco, she met with the Governor of the Province, Jorge Capitanich, the mayor of the area, Héctor Pollarés and other authorities, such as commerce representatives and industry and production representatives, as well as special guests.
In the Avia Terai area, 240 kilometers west of Resistencia, the Province's capital, the President led the inaugural act for the new hospital.
The hospital will count on modern technology, along with a laboratory that is fully-equipped, different rooms for specific services and modernized electrical capabilities, among other things.
The agreement for the construction of 5000 homes was signed with the Anses organization and the Province, overlooked by the President.
CFK said that Argentina will "keep constructing upon a model for a country that is different than the one that people are trying to impose upon us."
She also added that she and the Government are "united in this project for change."
"For a long time, when we grew and completed the most important economic growth cycle we were told that it was because of the overall international growth. Today, while the international economy is still down, we are the country in the region that maintains positive numbers," said the President.
In addition, she said that "the new hospitals will help those who live in the area, in the inner parts of the country," speaking about Avia Terai.
The President said that the construction project "picked up in 100 days, with the Santa Silvina hospital," and she thanks Hebe de Bonafini, Made de Plaza de Mayo, for her presence and for having "transformed the pain and the irreparable damage in constructive projects."
